He serves on the board for the New Jersey Technology Council, and was Chairman of the board in 2007 through 2015. He’s also a member of the President’s Leadership Council of Stevens Institute of Technology. He received the 2011 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year® Award in the Technology Services Category. About Simon Nynens
Simon Nynens is Chairman & CEO of Wayside Technology Group. His company provides clients with easy access to superior IT products, and redefines how people interact with technology.
He started his career at Ernst & Young in Amsterdam, Holland. He joined Wayside Technology Group in 1998 and became Chairman & CEO in 2006. He‘s a graduate of the Advanced Management Program at the Harvard Business School.
Simon serves on the board for the New Jersey Technology Council and was Chairman of the board in 2007 through 2015. He is also a member of the President’s Leadership Council of Stevens Institute of Technology. He received the 2011 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year® Award in the Technology Services Category.
Outside of Wayside, Simon is a proud father and husband, curious world traveler, Keynote speaker, and Chief Motivator. He is a black belt in Taekwondo and a retired long distance runner. In fact, he ran many marathons and some ultra-marathons including a 100 KM race. Read Simon’s Full Bio
